Twenty-second in the series by George Rodrigue. For the first time ever,
an artist created two Jazz Fest posters in a row. Following up his 1995
masterwork, Rodrigue created a matching portrait celebrating the
swinging musicianship of New Orleans' most beloved son, Pete Fountain.
Like its immediate predecessor, this print too was sold-out prior to
the end of the Festival.
3,000 numbered prints measuring 23" x 38" plus an unsigned edition of
10,000 numbered prints measuring 21" x 35" and an artist-signed Remarque
edition of 750 prints bearing Fountain's signature and a unique pencil
drawing by Rodrigue of his Blue Dog. 26" x 42"
